So yeah, it's Krystov....again... And this time, I've finally decided on a pair of wings that I shall leave as is.
So here we are now, at the end. Originally his wings were to be a light green with black ivory for the bones, that was when he was a full-demon. But yeah...I made him half-demon/half-angel instead and his wings evolved along with his genes.
So from green and black wings he went to black feathered with sharp white bones protruding from the tops and bottoms. Then I nixed the bottom bones and only made them stick from the top while keeping them black. Then I thought "Well, his mom is an angel" so I made them have black edges and white feathers. Then I exposed the top and more demonic looking part of the wingsd and made the flesh black. But that looked funny. So I brought back the bones at the bottom and decided that looked even worse. Finally I had an epiphany.
Why not keep the top demonic with black flas and extend that into the feathers? And from there, to allow the angelic half of his being through I can fade them to gray until they finally become white?
And thus Krystov, the final version, came about. That decision was made about half a year ago, but never really drawn with detail on the wings until now.
